Joined Tohoku University as a Researcher at the Chemical Systems Engineering Laboratory, Department of Chemical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering. Laboratory:http://www.che.tohoku.ac.jp/~sis/index.html
I’ll attend the 14th Meeting of the Institute of Life Cycle Assessment at Kyushu University, Japan on March 5th-7th, 2019. I’ll present on the 7th the research entitled “Indicators to measure the progress of circular economy considering life-cycle assessment perspectives”. This research explores three major concepts of Circular Economy (CE): the economic, environmental, and social aspects and synthesizing the relationship between them. It aims to (1) review and classify the CE aspects and key concepts in the literature through Qualitative Data Analysis (QDA) of the articles published on CE, including the various CE definitions; and (2) classify CE indicators to measure how close or far countries and industries are from the transition to CE. My class on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), entitled “Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Comprehensive Class: Theory, Software, and Data” will start on September 10th at Ritsumeikan University, College of Science and Engineering, Department of Environmental Systems Engineering, for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students. It is a comprehensive LCA class that covers (1) the LCA method, the theory, and the approach; (2) The Life Cycle Impact Assessment Methods; (3) the Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data; and (4) practical case studies on LCA software.
I have joined Ritsumeikan University as an Assistant Researcher. I belong to College of Science and Engineering, Department of Environmental Systems Engineering, the Laboratory of Resource Circulation and Recycling Systems and the Sustainable Resource and Waste Management Laboratory.
